I want dedicate my first post on this blog to the memory of my friend Giovanni D'Acunto. The days we spent together in Nature are indelible. They renew every time I see birds, every time I soil; every time I track wolves' footprints on snow, every time I walk at the edge of a cliff and every time the beauty of the Life takes my breath away. Passion for Wildlife has kept us joined and that is the only way to feel myself close to his spirit, to his way of living. Because Giovanni wasn't only fond of Nature, he was Nature as well, in its ruggedness and beauty. Now, I feel only regret from the impossibility of sharing adventures, misadventures and the beauty of those moments when Nature astonished us. When everybody was silent to avoid diminishing with words feelings that were impossible to describe. That syntony is gone and I miss it. Giovanni gave me a lot; if I sometimes produce a decent photo it is due to him. That's why I want to thank him here.
Bye bye, dear "Professore".
